Quantum is Magic!

Abstract:
Quantum mechanics defies our classical intuition. Yet, its physical effects drive real-world technologies and explain fundamental aspects of our universe. This presentation bridges the gap between human intuition and quantum reality by using magic tricks to illustrate seemingly impossible phenomena. I will explore quantum teleportation, Schrödinger’s cat, Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, destructive interference, and—in greater detail—the non-existence of a quantum state before measurement and Bell’s inequalities.
